For nearly three decades, since 1996, I have worked with families through life’s most profound moments, embracing my role more recently as a modern, civil celebrant. My absolute priority is to walk alongside you, transforming a difficult goodbye into a warm, meaningful, and personal leave-taking.

What You Can Expect: A Truly Collaborative Celebration

We will spend the time needed—with you, your friends, and your family—to explore and honour your loved one’s life. This is a precious time for sharing memories, stories, anecdotes, and achievements. Furthermore, I will listen intently to understand who they were and what they meant to those they left behind.

The Eulogy:

• I will then write a bespoke eulogy that perfectly reflects their unique life and personality, or deliver the tributes you wish to share—making it a truly collaborative and authentic celebration.

Active Involvement:

• Whether you wish to read a poem. Deliver a tribute yourself or prefer me to handle everything. I can offer unbiased suggestions for readings, help you draft your words, and manage the entire ceremony within Funeral Directors.

Music and Venue:

• I will help you select music that feels appropriate and I am experienced in creating ceremonies at the Carlisle and Penrith Crematorium; or in the serene beauty of a local Woodland/Green burial ground.
