How much does a wedding celebrant cost?

When considering your options, it is worth noting that my price is about the same as – or sometimes less than – booking a registrar to come to your venue for your wedding. A Celebrant is a  lot more personal (whatever registers say).

  Choosing your Celebrant is a big decision; consequently, I ensure my service is as comprehensive and stress-free as possible. From the moment you book, you receive my full professional support.

  1. Your Day is My Priority

  Unlike a registrar, I do not book “slots.” Instead, I offer a guaranteed booking of your entire wedding day. By keeping my diary clear for you, I ensure total flexibility; as a result, you decide exactly when and where you want your ceremony to take place.

  2. Expert Professionalism

  I am a Trained Professional Celebrant with over 20 years of experience conducting all types of ceremonies. Furthermore, I am fully insured, providing you with peace of mind that you are in safe and expert hands.

  3. The Creative Process

  Initially, we will have a first meeting to discuss your early ideas and capture the “big picture” of your wedding. Following this, I provide a couple’s questionnaire for you to fill in together. While some couples feel a little reticent at first, the feedback is always the same: they love the process of reflecting on their relationship!

  4. Crafting Your Script

  If required, we will hold a second meeting (often via Zoom or what’s app ). During this time, I will read the first draft of your script and firm up every detail. Ultimately, this results in a unique wedding ceremony script written entirely by me to reflect your love story. This can be tweaked until it is perfect, and in addition, I can help you write your personal vows if you wish.

  5. Ongoing Support & Guidance

  Throughout the entire process, you have unlimited access to my advice. Whether you need guidance on readings or have last-minute worries, I am always at the end of a phone or email. Moreover, we will conduct a rehearsal a few days before the wedding—venue permitting—to answer those final questions and settle any nerves.

  6. Your Big Day

  On the day itself, I always arrive early to ensure everything is in place. Once the ceremony is complete, you will receive a personalised Special Moments wedding certificate as a keepsake of your union.

Further travel or equipment (e.g. Sand Ceremony kits, hand fastening etc.). Will incur further reasonable costs. this will be discussed and agreed on early in the process so that you won’t incur a sudden unexpected expense.

• I also offer a payment plan to help spread the costs.

All this form £475.

How far can our wedding celebrant travel?

I am based in Cumbria included  20 miles is part of fees. So most of the wedding ceremonies I conduct happen in and around Cumbria and anywhere in the UK. I’m more than happy to travel further afield if your wedding is happening elsewhere. If you’re prepared to pay my travel expenses, accommodation if needed.
