Celebrate life’s cork!  Today, as I sit here surrounded by a collection of corks from various weddings and ceremonies, which I made into a door wreath seeing them every time I come home or go out. Gives me an overwhelming sense of gratitude which washes over me. These are small tokens of appreciation. Serveing, as a poignant reminder to me. Of my profound love for my role as a celebrant.

Being a celebrant grants me the extraordinary privilege of intimately working with couples and families during life’s most significant moments. From magical weddings to heartfelt ceremonies. I am deeply honoured to be a part of these celebrations and bear witness to the love and happiness that fills the air.

Joyous occasions and Sombre moments.

Yet, it is not solely the joyous occasions that make my role so fulfilling. It is also a sad moment when families and friends unite to bid farewell to a cherished soul. In these instances of grief, I am reminded of the indomitable strength and resilience of the human spirit. I am humbled by the opportunity to craft a meaningful and heartfelt farewell, offering solace and support to those in need.

Every cork symbolises a unique story, a treasured memory, and a heartfelt expression of gratitude. These Corks testify to the profound connections I have forged and made. The lives I have touched. The love I have witnessed. They continue to serve as a constant reminder that my work extends beyond officiating at ceremonies. It encompasses celebrating life’s milestones and being a steadfast presence during both the peaks and valleys.

Today, I paused to reflect upon the extraordinary journey I have been fortunate enough to embark upon. I am profoundly grateful for the trust that couples and families bestow upon me, allowing me to partake in their special moments. The love and joy that fills my heart each time. From witness, two souls uniting or helping create a meaningful tribute to a life well-lived is immeasurable.

They reignite the flame within me and remind me of the reasons. I chose this path, fueling my unwavering passion and dedication to continue making a profound difference in the lives of those I have the privilege to walk alongside.
